We are an Indigenous-led nonprofit organization for community, by community.
We are a collective of our diverse cultures, our ways of knowing and being, and our lived experiences.
We provide opportunities for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis living in the Sea-to-Sky corridor to connect with the urban Indigenous community, and to learn, practice, share, and celebrate their inherent rights to their cultures.
As visitors on the traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw, we offer our gratitude and respect to our relatives who have been here since time immemorial.
We walk gently with respect, humility, and integrity. We are dedicated to continuous learning and to forming meaningful and lasting connections to the people, land, sky, waters, and all our relations.
PURPOSE
Our purpose is to nurture an interconnected urban Indigenous community within the Sea-to-Sky corridor, where we honour our ancestors, celebrate our diverse cultures, and sustain the seeds of knowledge for the next seven generations.
MISSION
Our mission is to continually learn and share our diverse cultures, traditions, and teachings with all our relations by reseeding intergenerational knowledge through cultural events, programs, community gatherings, and capacity building.
VISION
Our vision is a thriving collective of Indigenous cultures in the Sea-to-Sky corridor where traditional knowledge and ancestral wisdom are practiced, honoured, and celebrated.
OUR IMPACT
Through community gatherings, events, and cultural programming we create opportunities for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis to come together to form meaningful connections where they can practice, learn, share, and celebrate their inherent rights to their cultures.
COMMUNITY GATHERINGS
Community gatherings are a vital part of who we are and Indigenous Peoples. They are a chance to come together as First Nations, Inuit, and Métis, to build strong relationships, and to feel that deep connection to community.
PROGRAMS & EVENTS
Whether you are deeply connected or reconnecting, we invite you to join us at our events and programs. We provide an inclusive space for the Indigenous community to come together to learn, practice, share and celebrate our diverse cultures.
CAPACITY BUILDING
At the heart of our work is a deep commitment to the growth and well-being of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. We believe that by sharing knowledge and resources, we can cultivate meaningful opportunities for personal development so that together we can uplift each other.
